Bonzai first got into graffiti in the mid 80′s while hip-hop was becoming popular in the UK. He was born on the South coast and, after painting in the same city for some time, he decided that if he wanted to get noticed on the scene he needed to move to London. Since living in the capital, Bonzai’s work has been exhibited in solo shows as well as various group shows, and on top of this he regularly gets commissioned to produce quality work for well known companies. Bonzai has been interviewed for French magazine ‘Graffbombz’ as well as the world’s largest selling graffiti publication ‘Graphotism’.

Bonzai was always known for his bio organic style, which he had been working on for many years, but at the turn of 2010 he decided it was time to switch it up. Bonzai is now working on a new style that he is trying to push bigger, more technical and better each time he paints.
